Provincial Repository Integration
NEODIN - North & East Ontario DI Network
NEODIN serves as a Diagnostic Imaging repository for hospitals in the North West, North East and Champlain Local Health Integration Networks (LHINs).
Provided leadership and subject matter expertise in day to day operations of the north east Ontario diagnostic imaging network. Lead system expansion and optimization improvements to the DI-r. This network consists of 67 hospitals.
SWODIN - Southwestern Ontario DI Network
The Southwestern Ontario Diagnostic Imaging Network (SWODIN) connects Radiologists, referring Physicians and Specialists at hospitals across Southwestern Ontario, allowing them to instantly access, store, and view Diagnostic Images and reports.
Provided leadership and subject matter expertise in day to day operations of the south west Ontario diagnostic imaging network. Lead system expansion and optimization improvements to the DI-r. This network consists of 60 hospitals.
BORN - Better Outcomes Registry Network
Evaluated long-term technology solutions and vendors, and designed high-level solutions and partner integration for multi-system, enterprise assets.
Subject matter expert (SME) on the logical and physical data models for the BORN data and data standards (HL7 v2.x, HL7 V3, FHIR).
Provided technical and business leadership to develop and deliver automated integration to the BORN registry.
Foreign Exam Management (FEM) - NEODIN & SWODIN
Facilitated the implementation of FEM at NEODIN and SWODIN. With over 20 FEM Implementations (Hospitals & IHFs) across both DI-Rs.
FEM is also known as IDEP - Import and Display of External Priors (IHE profile).
DICS - Diagnostic Imaging Common Service
Enabled diagnostic imaging (DI) studies and DI reports stored in regional DI repositories and eHealth Ontario XDS repository to be accessible province-wide from anywhere and anytime.
o Provide guidance and interpretation to the vendor and SWODIN/NEODIN participating organizations (PO) sites.
AHS - Alberta Health Services
Lead numerous integrations between IHFs and the AHS - HL7 (ADT, ORM, ORU) and EMPI integrations.
CCIM - Community Care Information Management
The Community Care Information Management (CCIM) initiative, established by the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care in 2005. Approximately 1,500 community care organizations and over 9000 Health Service Providers (HSP) across six sectors benefit from CCIM’s centrally operated systems in their day-to-day business operations and for enabling a patient-centred view of clinical assessments..
